Technical Assistance:
Discussed with the staff the use of volunteers/junior counselor program at the facility. Discussed the storage of corporate files for contracted employees.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 9:30 AM and ending at 2:30 PM. There were seventy-eight children in care. The children were observed eating lunch, playing musical hot potato, doing yoga, and writing stories. Lunch being served was hamburgers, corn, mandarin orange, and milk. Six children's records were reviewed and determined to be complete. Seven staff records were reviewed. The fire and health inspections were reviewed. The last evacuation drill was documented as July 14, 2016. There were no medications at the facility. The playground was not inspected due to inclement weather. Description: Based on observation not all hazardous materials were kept in a locked place. Evidence: There was a bottle of liquid dish detergent on the counter in the 2's classroom. The label on the dish detergent stated keep out of the reach of children.

Plan of Correction: This was corrected during the inspection.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-570-E
Description: Based on observation not all of the bottled formula i was labeled with the date. Evidence: There was one bottle in the infant room refrigerator that was not dated.
