Conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection 1:10-2:30pm. Observed 60 children + 11 direct-care staff. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. A new Director was hired in August 2016. Children were observed having outdoor free-play, Spanish, napping and having quiet time. Staff were actively engaged with the children, providing active supervision, and tending to the needs of those having difficulty napping. The school was found to be clean, and well supplied with developmentally appropriate toys and equipment for the children. Catered food services are provided as an option for those not wishing to bring food from home. Required documents posted. Medication management and record keeping violations found.
