Comments:
Conducted an unannounced monitoring study with the assistant director, administrative assistant, ten staff, and 61 children. The ages of the children range from six months-old through four years-old. The children were eating, napping, and having free play during the inspection. Five children's records and three staff records were reviewed. One child's medication was reviewed during the inspection. The fire and health inspections are current and up to date. Start time: 11:00am End time: 1:30pm

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-350-D
Description: Based on a review of classroom A, the classroom was out of ratio. Evidence: There were eight children on their cots and one child was eating lunch.

Plan of Correction: The Assistant Director stated that she will ensure if any children are dropped off during naptime and/or awake; another person will be go into the room until all are asleep.
