Technical Assistance:
Discussed with administration: The program exceeds state standards regarding, student to child ratios, required training hours for all staff on site and requirements regarding background searches and first aid and CPR for individuals on site coming in contact with children in care. Center administration requested contact information for programs serving the community at large.

Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today. Operational responsibilities, children's information, caregiver training and development, parental involvement and notifications, nutrition and food services, emergency supplies, emergency drills, transportation and field trips were reviewed. No medications were reported to be on-site at the time of the inspection. A sample of Summer Camp STEAMStep activities including: robotics, spike ball, kinetic modeling compound and the introduction of the new "drone hunting " course were also discussed. The exit interview was conducted with program administration. Inspection conducted 2:45 pm to 4:30 pm.
