The required emergency procedures must be in writing. These procedures cannot be communicated verbally.
An unannounced SHSI inspection was conducted today. There were 110 children in care, with a total of 18 staff members. This inspection took place during summer camp programming. The children were observed eating lunch, finishing classroom group activities, and preparing to attend an off-site field trip. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-031-A Description: Based on a review of emergency drill documents, it was determined that the emergency preparedness plan has not bee updated to include all required information. Evidence: The emergency preparedness plan does not include Reunification Plans and Lockdown Procedures. Plan of Correction: The plan will be updated and complete.
