Discussed emergency contacts for children should be a person other than the child's parent.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 12:45pm-1:45pm. There were 12 children directly supervised by 4 staff exceeding the supervision required by the requirements. The physical plant, staff medication administration training, CPR and First Aid training, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Staff qualifications and background checks are reviewed annually. Children were observed participating in crafting and playing video games. Hand-washing procedures were also observed. Staff were observed having continuous friendly conversations with children during crafting time and providing positive assistance to children when needed. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.
