Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on November 30, 2017. The purpose of this visit was to measure compliance with the licensing standards. There were 73 children, infant to preschool age, in care at the time of the inspection. There were 12 staff members working directly with the children in their classrooms. All classrooms maintained the proper ratio. The children throughout the facility were engaged in activity. The infants were playing on the floor and being diapered. The toddlers, twos and threes were playing outside on the playground. The fours were practicing songs for the Christmas show. The half day four year old classes were having a snack of granola bars and juice. For lunch, the children were served ?frank and beans?, corn bread, celery (mixed veggies) and milk. Staff was observed interacting with the children and providing assistance when needed. The facility was equipped with manipulatives and supplies and items were available to the children. Medication is administered and staff has MAT training. Last documented health inspection: 5/3/17 Last documented fire inspection: 1/31/17 During the inspection, 7 children's records and five staff records were reviewed. Approximate time on site: 10:38am to 1:45pm
