Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 1:00pm until 2:15pm. At the beginning of the tour, there were 15 children in care, ranging in age from 3-5 years, with 1 staff present during nap time. A second staff person arrived at the center before nap time ended. A sample of 5 children's records were reviewed as well as staff emergency contact sheets. Staff records are kept at a central location and will be reviewed at a later date. Children were observed during nap time, toileting and hand washing. Medication, first aid and emergency supplies and the emergency preparedness plan were reviewed, as well as documentation for emergency evacuation drills, menus, fire and health inspections and other required center postings. There were no violations identified during this inspection.
