Standard #: 22VAC40-185-350-C Description: Based on observation at the time of arrival the facility failed to have the staff-to-child ratio applicable to the youngest child in the group. Evidence: 1. On 12/20/2017 at the time of arrival there were seventeen children on the playground with three teachers. The youngest child was twenty-three months old. One staff for every five children is required. 2. On 12/20/2017 staff #1 confirmed there should have been one staff person for every five children on the playground. Plan of Correction: We will be mindful of separating the groups for outside play in order to ensure staff-to-child ratios at all times.
