Discussion of the subsidy regulations and how they apply to the Child Day Center (CDC). Discussion was also centered around Lockdown procedure drills. As a reminder, at least one Lockdown drill (or more based on programs offered) will need to be conducted by the time of your next renewal inspection.
A Subsidy Health and Safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted at the Loudoun Valley Community Center located in Purcellville, Virginia. This inspection was conducted on 02/16/2018, between the hours of 10 am through 1 pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
