A renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on 5/9/2024. The inspector arrived at 10:00 AM and departed at 11:15 AM . There were 10 children present, totaling 23 points, with the provider and assistant supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 child records and 3 provider/household records were reviewed. Morning activities were observed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined a non-compliance with applicable standards or law and a violation was documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Violations were reviewed with the provider during the exit interview.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-210-A Description: Based upon review of caregiver records, the provider has not ensured that each caregiver obtain a minimum of 16 clock hours of training annually.
Evidence:
Caregiver 2 obtained only 3 hours of annual training in 2023.Plan of Correction: The provider responded with the following:
All caregivers will obtain at least 16 hours of training every year.
