This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 02/10/2021 and concluded on 02/11/2021. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 6 children present and 2 staff. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 2 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliances with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-780-B Description: Based on record review, the provider did not annually review with the parent the emergency contact information required in to ensure the information is correct.
Evidence:
1. The record of Child A was last updated 01/01/2020Plan of Correction: The Parent will fix it today.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-280 Description: Based on observation, poisonous materials such as cleaning supplies were in reach of children.
Evidence:
Disinfectant wipes were located in the bathroom on top of the toilet in reach of children.Plan of Correction: Provider moved the wipes into a locked cabinet during the inspection.
