Standard #: 22VAC40-185-270-A Description: Based on observation, it was determined that the areas and equipment of the center, inside and outside were not maintained in a safe condition. Evidence: The licensing inspector observed a raised corner of the carpet in the school age classroom that presented a tripping hazard. Plan of Correction: Administration replaced the rug immediately.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-570-A Description: Based on observation, the center did not ensure that when a child is placed in an infant seat or high chair, the protective belt shall be fastened securely. Evidence: The licensing inspector observed an infant to be seated in a high chair while drinking. The safety strap was not fastened. Plan of Correction: Corrected on site.
