The following was reviewed with the Program Director:
1. Effective 09/01/2021 a carbon monoxide detector is required;
2. New CDC standards effective 10/13/2021;
3. Staff are required to have the following prior to employment/training/contact with children: completed sworn statement or affirmation, results of the fingerprint background check and a TB screening.
4. Standard 570.C 1 & 2 - record of infant's brand of formula;
5. Forward updated health inspection;
6. Current license is required to be posted/displayed at all times;
7. MAT training requirements;
8. Information and training for the new CDC standards can be viewed at the Child Care VA website.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 12/22/2021 and concluded on 12/30/2021. The director was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 18 children present, ranging in ages from infant - school age, with 4 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 children's records and 2 staff records were reviewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
