Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced renewal inspection conducted today, December 12, 2019. The on-site inspection was held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. On this date, there were three children in the care of the provider (11 points). There were a total of eight children enrolled in the program. There were five children's records reviewed, along with the record for the provider. The provider and three children were interviewed. There was no medication being administered at the time of the visit, as is the policy of the provider. Lunch was observed to meet USDA guidelines. The theme from the week was The Five Senses. The Letter of the Week was L,l. The shape of the week was Star. The color of the week was Green and the numbers of the week were 9 and 10. Some items reviewed/observed during the inspection included: circle time, story time, calendar, singing, discussions of the five senses, art work with the Letter L,l, choice time, diapering changing procedures, hand washing and bathroom procedures, table top word games and puzzles, lunch, required posted information, injury reports, first aid kit and emergency supplies, documentation of evacuation and shelter-in-place drill, and liability insurance.
