An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated on 5/13/2024 and the inspection concluded on 5/13/2024. The on-site inspection began at 10:25am and ended at 11:55am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 8 children present and 3 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 2 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, interviews, and observations.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the deficient practice will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 5/23/2024. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard #: 8VAC20-780-40-M Description: The center is required to keep a current list of all known allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions in each room or area where children are present. The list must be dated and kept confidential. The list in the preschool room was posted on the side of the cubbies in plain sight. Standard #: 8VAC20-780-60-A Description: Centers must keep a separate record for each child enrolled that contains all of the required information. In 4 of the 5 records reviewed 3 of the children's records did not contain designated people to call in an emergency if the parent cannot be reached, 1 record did not contain a physical, and 1 record did not contain the required written agreements between the parent and center.
