Discussion in a change to the weekly schedule. During next school year, September through June, the FDH will only be open Monday - Thursday.
Discussion of the subsidy program. The Provider has expressed an interest in becoming a subsidy vendor. The Child Care VA (OCCHS) website and information found there was shared with the Provider. She was encouraged to go to childcare.virginia.gov and follow the process in order to become a subsidy vendor.

This renewal inspection was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 04/18/2024, between the hours of 10 am to 11:45 am. There were 4 preschool children present (8 points), with 1 caregiver supervising. The children were engaged in the following: snack, center activities within the classroom, learning about the rain forest, outside play, games, bathroom breaks, hand washing, and other organized activities. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 4 children files, 1 household record, and 1 staff file was reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined that there was not a violation to an applicable standard, code, and/or law. Therefore, a Violation Notice was not issued.
