An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted with the area manager beginning at 3:45 PM and ending at 5:45 PM. There were twenty-five school-aged children in care during the inspection. The children were observed playing card and board games, drawing, and playing with manipulatives. The children were also observed during outdoor recreations time and doing homework. Ten children's records and two staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Two medications were reviewed. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The emergency escape log was reviewed. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 2/14/18. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as 11/31/17. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as 1/25/18. The most recent health inspection was documented as 5/1/17.
