Infants were observed sleeping in cribs and being fed by staff. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Violations:
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-006-B-11
Description: Based on a record review the vendor did not ensure there was a written allergy care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic to and steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction. Evidence: There were 2 children (#1 and #3) who were listed as having an allergy to food, however did not have a written allergy care plan.

Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was provided by the vendor at the time of the exit interview: The center had been categorizing food allergies vs preferences incorrectly. The allergy list will be reviewed and updated. A written care plan will be obtained for any child that has a food allergy.
