Comments:
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted from 10:00 am - 1:20 pm. There were 80 children in care being supervised by 16 staff members. The children were observed participating in structured center play and outdoor play. Lunch served today is salad, grilled chicken strips, whole wheat bread, peaches, and milk. Ten children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Eight staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Seven medications were reviewed and in compliance. There are 4 staff members on site who are MAT(Medication Administration Training) certified. An allergy list was posted in each classroom for children in the program with diagnosed food allergies. Allergy care plans were reviewed for children enrolled with diagnosed food allergies. Staff training records were reviewed for completion of CPR, First Aid, and Virginia Pre-Service Training.
