Technical Assistance:
An exit interview was conducted with the assistant director to discuss the results of today's inspection.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, June 20, 2018 to determine the center's compliance with licensing standards. The inspection was initiated at 2:50pm and concluded at approximately 4:35pm. Upon arrival, the following ratios were observed: Infant room: 2 staff/ 6 infants Pre Toddler room #1: 1 staff/ 4 children Toddler room #1: 2 staff/ 11 children Toddler room #2: 2 staff/ 10 children Two year old room #1: 1 staff/ 6 children Two year old room #2: 1 staff/ 7 children Three year old room: 1 staff/ 9 children Four year old room: 1 staff/ 10 children School age classroom: 1 staff/ 11 children Children were observed eating snack, listening to a short story, participating in free play, and playing outdoors. Today's snack consisted of crackers and 100% fruit juice. Children's books, toys, and equipment were inspected and found to be age appropriate and in operable condition. All classrooms were inspected to include main hallways and children's restrooms. The outdoor playground was inspected with the required resilient surfacing present and no hazards found. While outdoors today, children were observing having access to shaded areas and cold water when needed. The center's van used for transportation was inspected with the required first aid kit, emergency contacts, and route information present. The center had the required items posted upon entering the center and in children's classrooms. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected with additional supplies found. Five children's records and three staff records were inspected with the required information found. The following was also inspected: annual health & fire inspections, fire drills, medication & authorizations, illness policy, parent agreements, and other pertinent information.
