Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced complaint inspection which was conducted on July 3, 2018. At the time of arrival there were 54 children in the care of 10 staff members and two administrators. The inspection was in response to a complaint that was received in the Valley Licensing Office on June 26, 2018. The complaint was regarding background checks, ratios, and physical plant. There were two staff members interviewed, four staff records reviewed, attendance sheets, staff time sheets, and a daily check sheet used throughout the day to account for ratios. The information gathered during the investigation does not support the allegation, so the complaint is determined to be "not valid." There was a violation resulting from this complaint investigation that was not related to the complaint. If you have any questions, contact your licensing inspector at (540) 430-9257.
