A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on August 21, 2018, between the hours of 10:25 a.m. and 3:45 p.m., to review the supplemental health and safety requirements. Sixty one (61) children were enrolled and twenty-three (23) children, in four classrooms, were in the care of five staff members during the on site inspection. Two additional staff members were present and able to assist, as needed. Five children's records were reviewed and five staff records were reviewed and/or updated. Five children's medications, three children's topical ointments and the accompanying authorization forms/logs were reviewed. The facility was observed to be clean and supplied with a variety of age/stage appropriate learning and play materials/toys. Program observation was completed. Activities observed on this date included: indoor play (toys, matching game and playdoh); books/stories; restroom, diapering and handwashing procedures; lunch; infant care; naptime and departure of children. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined covered all of the subsidy health and safety requirements. Only the subsidy requirements that were not covered in the licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were cited during this inspection.
