Today an announced initial inspection was conducted between the hours of 10:00am and 12:30pm. The LI met with the Children's Programs Specialist, and the Division Manager of Children's Programs of Loudoun County, Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community Services. There were no children on-site during this announced initial inspection, the program will begin operating on the first day of school. The physical plant was inspected, the cafeteria and the gym were measured for capacity calculations, both areas were clean, safeguarded appropriately, and adequately supplied with equipment and supplies. Emergency preparedness plan, and supplies were in order. Required documents posted. A follow up inspection will be conducted approximately 60 days from today's visit to observe the standards that could not be verified today.
