63.2 Facilities and Programs..
- Technical Assistance:
The licensing inspector completed a scheduled modification study on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from approximately 9:10 AM until 10:10 AM. The Department received a request to modify the facility?s license on August 8, 2018. The licensee has requested to relocate to Chamberlayne Elementary school located at 8200 St. Charles Road, Richmond for the after school program. The licensing inspector completed an inspection of the building located at this address and was assisted by a member of management. The center will be providing after school care for children in the cafeteria and the gymnasium as well utilizing the bathrooms and outdoor play areas. All areas of the center were inspected. The areas have the required equipment and supplies and age appropriate materials for the anticipated number of children in care. The inspector reviewed policies and procedures during the inspection. No hazards were identified, and no violations were cited during the inspection. At this time, the facility?s license will be modified to allow 140 children to be cared for at this facility. The children will be 5 to 12 years of age. The effective dates of the license will not be affected. If you have any questions, please contact the inspector at (804) 662-9790.
