Consultation was given on out of state CPS follow-up (within 45 days of submission) and best practice to assist a child with toileting.
An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today from 11:15-1:00. All rooms were in ratio with direct care staff. Reviewed a sample of records for children, new hire staff, medication authorizations and storage, physical plant and emergency preparedness. Observed preparation for lunch, hand washing, transition to outside play time, reading and storytime. Rooms are well equipped with supplies and equipment. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-560-G Description: Based on observation, a sample of lunch boxes were not labeled and dated. Evidence: 7 of 10 lunch boxes observed were missing the child's name or date. Plan of Correction: Remind the parents to label and date each day.
