Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 10/09/2018 from 11:00am-2:30pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of entrance, 66 children were in care of 11 staff members present. Children were observed while engaged in group activities, during handwashing, lunch and transitions to naptime. Chicken strips, broccoli, pita bread and fruit salad were served today. A selection of 6 staff records, 8 children's records and other documents were reviewed. No children's medications were on site today. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. Please contact me if you have any questions at Ivaco.Clarke@dss.virginia.gov or 571-835-5505.
