Consultation provided on listing the specific time of day parents were told of accidents/injuries and not simply writing "at pick up t ime". Pay close attention to the dates parents/physician document for the duration of medication administration and if they have put the wrong year down in error please have them to correct it. The expectation is that all staff are ensuring the children's care, protection and guidance while using the play equipment. Staff must provide active supervision to include redirecting children who may use the slides, see saw and swings inappropriately.
An unannounced renewal study was conducted with the director, who was present with three additional staff and 48 children. The children and staff were in the process of going outside onto the playground at the beginning of the inspection. After returning inside the children washed their hands and had snack which consisted of apples and milk. At the end of the inspection the children were divided into clubs and doing homework. Four children had medications on site, four staff and eight children's files were reviewed today. Arrival time: 4: 10 pm Departure time: 5: 55 pm
