Today's visit was a routine monitoring inspection. the inspection started at 9:30pm and concluded at 4:00pm. There were one hundred one children in care between infant and school age with fifteen staff members. During the inspection all nine classrooms were observed during the inspection, infant care was observed, the outdoor playgrounds were viewed, three out of ten medications were viewed along with authorization, an injury report was viewed, twelve out of twenty-seven staff records were reviewed, seven out of one hundred fifty-seven children's records were reviewed, emergency supplies were viewed, and some policies and procedures were reviewed. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-550-C Description: Based on the inspector's observations, the center did not have posted shelter in place procedures posted in a location conspicuous to staff. Evidence: The inspector did not observe any posted shelter in place procedures as required by this standard. Plan of Correction: The shelter in place procedures will be posted by at least one emergency map by the next program day.
