- Technical Assistance:
We reviewed the requirements for medication authorizations. Also, we discussed options for table activities in the cafeteria pod during the first twenty minutes of the afternoon program.
Thank you for your assistance during today's unannounced monitoring inspection conducted from 3:30 PM to 6:35 PM. Today, there were thirty-two children, ages five through ten years, with three staff. It was reported that thirty-one children were supervised before school by two staff. I viewed program activities, equipment, staffing, supervision, interactions with children, posted information, agency inspection reports, insurance, emergency supplies and drill records, medication, five records for children, five staff records, staff qualifications, staff training, snack, nutrition, daily routines, indoor and outdoor areas. The children were provided time for active play outdoors, and indoor group activity, choices for table activities, and homework time. Staff were seen providing frequent interactions with children and adequate supervision during group experiences and transitions. No violations with minimum standards. Let me know if you have any questions. 540/430-9259
