The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced renewal inspection on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 11:40am to 1:25pm to determine the center's compliance with licensing standards. During this inspection, the center's assistant director was present and assisted the licensing inspector throughout the inspection. The census for today's inspection consisted of 143 children in care. During the inspection, the licensing inspector observed some of the children during circle time. Other children were observed outside, interacting with peers, and the staff. Later, the children were observed during lunch. Staff were observed having positive interactions with the children. The center has age and stage appropriate materials and supplies. The following information was reviewed: program activities, supervision, staffing, and interactions with children, daily routines, menu, posted information, drill records, and agency inspection reports. The last documented health inspection occurred July 2, 2018. The last documented fire inspection occurred November 22, 2017. There were ten children's records reviewed during this inspection. The licensing inspector reviewed five staff records on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 1:36pm to 2:27pm. There were no violations cited during the inspections.
