Discussed with center director the new requirements for Subsidy Providers including the continuity plan, Tuberculosis screening within 30 days prior to first day of employment for new staff and group sizes.

Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 11/27/18to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 73 children in care of 12 staff members. The children were observed playing with a variety of toys, playing bingo, reading, coloring and doing worksheets. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. Please contact me if you have any questions at mahrukh.aziz@dss.virginia.gov or 571-835-4718.
