A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 11-26-2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 129 children, aged 4 months-5 years, in care with 19 staff, and kitchen staff. Children were active in outdoor play, activities, group time, centers, art, music, personal hygiene, lunch time, and rest time. Children and staff records and other documentation were reviewed, as well as the facility both inside and out. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-510-B Description: Based on review of documentation and discussions with staff the vendor failed to maintain compliance with this standard as required. Evidence: There was no written hard copy of daily attendance as required. The daily attendance was being taken electronically via Tadpoles in each class. Plan of Correction: Hard copy daily attendance will be completed in each class by the teachers within the class for compliance.
