Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-B Description: Based on observation the center did not ensure all hazardous substances were kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by child. Evidence: In the preschool room the the key to the supply closet was in the keyhole and accessible to children in care. There was a can of Lysol on a shelf in the closet. Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was provided during the exit interview: The key was removed from the keyhole and place on the hook out of reach of children in care. The director will follow-up with staff and remind them to put the key on the hook after use.
