An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted from 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm. There were 75 children in care being supervised by 13 staff members. The children were observed participating in structured center play and eating afternoon snack. Snack served today is pretzel bites, orange slices, and water. Ten children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Six staff records were reviewed and in compliance. An allergy list was posted for children enrolled in the program with diagnosed food allergies. Allergy care plans were reviewed for those children with diagnosed food allergies. Staff training was reviewed for completion of CPR, First Aid, and the Virginia Pre-service Training. The most recent Lock Down drill was conducted 03/02/18.
