Health and Safety inspection was conducted from 10am through 12:30pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 36 children in care with seven staff. Children present ranged in age from 18months to six years old. Children were observed in teacher and self-directed activities. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Description: Based on record review the vendor failed to ensure that all staff who work directly with children have current CPR and first aid training. Evidence: 1 - The record for staff 2 contains documentation that the CPR certification expired on 11/20/18. There is no documentation of first aid training on file for staff 2. 2 - The vendor confirmed that the CPR certification for staff 2 has expired and that there is not any documentation of first aid training on file.

Plan of Correction: The vendor will ensure that each staff maintains current CPR and first aid training documentation as required. Staff 2 will obtain the required training as soon as possible.
