Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on December 17, 2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This on-site visit was conducted from 10:40 a.m. through 12:45 p.m. There were ninety-six children in the care of sixteen staff. Nine children's and nine staff records were reviewed and updated. The medication and medication paperwork was reviewed for three children. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. Areas observed: outside play, infant nap, story time, educational center activities and lunch. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as positive and the children seem comfortable with the daily routine and schedule. Please contact your licensing inspector at 540-430-9256 if you have any questions and/or if I may be of assistance with licensing standards.
