An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted beginning at 3:00 p.m. and ending at 4:45 p.m. with the director and three staff. There were 49 children in care ranging in age from 5 years to 11 years of age. Children were observed during attendance, transition times, outdoor play, snack, homework and centers that included blocks, imagination play and board games. Snack today was 100% juice and Oatmeal bites. After homework and centers, children prepared for zones. Zones today were cartooning and drawing the 'Grinch'. Five staff records and six staff records including training were reviewed and complete. Five medications, authorizations and administration logs were reviewed. The first aid kit was complete.
