Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on November 14 2018 between 10:30am and 12:00pm. There were 60 children in the direct care of 11 staff members. Staff were observed to be fully engaged with the children throughout the inspection. Children were observed playing on the playground, napping, being diapered, and getting prepared for outside time. The rooms are clean and organized. There are an abundant amount of age-appropriate materials for the children to utilize. Areas of non-compliance are listed on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-B
Description: Based on observation, hazardous materials were not kept in a locked place. Evidence: Cleaning supplies were located in an unlocked cabinet on the 4th shelf from the floor in the twos classroom. While the supplies were behind a sliding closet door and located out of reach of a two year old, they were not locked.

Plan of Correction: Have placed locks on closet doors.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-570-E
Description: Based on observation, prepared infant bottles were not dated and labeled with the child's name. Evidence: Bottles in the infant room were not labeled.

Plan of Correction: Created Labeling system for bottles to be dated each day.
