An unannounced monitoring visit was conducted today. Thirteen children were present with two Parks and Rec staff and 2 additional support personnel. Children were engaged in free play at centers (sand table, sticker art, blocks dress up and using trucks), transition to circle time and bathroom. One emergency medication is on-site with a MAT trained staff. Authorizations and storage are current for medications. Reviewed Four children records, emergency supplies, drills, attendance, physical space and injury forms. Children were preparing for a trip to the local library, located behind the center, for a "mystery reader". If you have any questions regarding the inspection, please feel free to contact me. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights.
