An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:45am-11:40am. There were 45 children directly supervised by 4 staff. The physical plant, 4 staff training records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in free play while in small groups and a group of 24 children were playing pin ball in the gymnasium. The children were planning on making ice cream sandwiches later in the afternoon. Positive interactions were observed between staff and children throughout the inspection. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. No violations were cited as a result of today's inspection.
