Technical Assistance:
An exit interview was conducted with the director to discuss the result of today's inspection. The continuity plan was also reviewed during this time.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, January 22, 2019 to determine the center's compliance with licensing standards. The inspection was initiated at 1:10pm and concluded at 3:55pm. Upon arrival, the following ratios were observed: Infant room: 5 infants/ 2 staff Toddler room: 5 toddlers/ 1 staff Two year old room: 5 children/ 1 staff Three-Four year olds: 15 children/ 2 staff (nap time) Infants were observed sleeping while others were interacting with staff. Diapering procedures were observed and in compliance with licensing standards. Infant bottles were observed labeled and dated. Older children were observed sleeping on cots with the proper bedding. Today's snack consisted of tortilla chips, cheese, applesauce, and low fat milk. Children's books, toys, and equipment were inspected and found to be age appropriate and in operable condition. All classrooms were inspected to include main hallways, children's restrooms, and the outdoor blacktop area used for outdoor play. The two vans used for transportation were inspected with the required items present. Parent pickup procedures were observed during this inspection. The center had the required postings displayed upon entering the center and in children's classrooms. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected with additional supplies found. Five children's records and four staff records were inspected with the required information present. The following was also inspected: daily attendance, two daily infant reports, annual fire & health inspections, fire & shelter-in-place drills, parent agreements, and other pertinent information.
