Licensing inspector arrived at 12:20 pm and departed at 1:35 pm to conduct a licensing inspection and a Subsidy Health and Safety inspection. At the time of the tour there were 2 children in care with 2 staff . Children were observed during nap time . The sample size consisted of 5 children records and 5 staff records. Areas of non-compliance was reviewed with the director.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-500-F Description: Based on observation, the licensee did not ensure the list of allergies are kept confidential in which room where children are present. Evidence: On January 17, 2019, the allergy list was on posted on the kitchen door which was visible to the children, staff and parents. The allergy list was not kept confidential . New requirement was implemented on October 17, 2018. Plan of Correction: The list of allergies were removed immediately and placed in the kitchen which is accessible only to the staff. I will make sure that the list always remove in that area.

Evidence: On January 17, 2019, the center did not add the procedures for continuity of operations to ensure that essential functions are maintained during an emergency in the center's emergency plan.
