A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 1/25/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 65 children were present with 8 caregivers. The children were engaged in the following: singing, playing games, eating lunch, and other organized activities. A total of 6 children's records and 6 staff files were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-770-B-1-k Description: Based on record review, the emergency preparedness plan does not include procedures to address reuniting children with a parent or an authorized person. Evidence: 1. The emergency preparedness plan does not include a plan for reunification of parents and children. Plan of Correction: We will create a reunification plan and update records.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-770-B-3 Description: Based on record review, the center did not have written lockdown procedures. Evidence: 1. There were not written lockdown procedures. Plan of Correction: We will ensure lockdown procedures are written and reviewed with staff.
