An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. There were 54 children in care, with a total of 4 staff assigned to their direct supervision. Children's records, children's medications, emergency preparedness items, the physical plant, and programming were inspected today. The children were observed playing outside during the course of this inspection. Children had already finished eating lunch from home. This inspection was completed between approximately 12:15pm and 1:10pm. Thank you for meeting with me today. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-130-A Description: Based on a review of children's health records, it was determined that one record is not complete. Evidence: The record for child D does not include an immunization record. Plan of Correction: I will get the health records from the school nurse. The child just entered care in January.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on a review of children's records, it was determined that three records were not complete. Evidence: 1. Child record A and record C do not include the parent's annual review of the child's file. 2. Child record D does not include the full name of each emergency contact person. Plan of Correction: The parent's will be asked for the information.
