A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 02/04/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 10:00am-1:30pm. There were 32 children (infants-5yrs.) directly supervised by 8 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in group play, coloring, being bottle fed, tracing letters, playing with small manipulative toys, and napping. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. There was an adequate number of staff with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid, as well as DHO training. Staff-to-child ratios were in compliance. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the Violation Notice. If you have any questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Maria Soto at email@example.com or (571) 835-5058. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
