The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced complaint inspection in response to a complaint that was received by the licensing department on January 22, 2019 regarding allegations related to programs. The inspection was initiated on February 8, 2019 and completed on February 13, 2019. On February 8, 2019, the inspector was on site from approximately12:45 pm to 1:12 pm. During the inspection, interviews with staff were completed, observations were made in the center, and documentation was reviewed. The preponderance of the evidence gathered during the investigation does not support the allegation; therefore, the complaint is determined to be not valid. Though not a part of the original complaint, there was a violation cited. See the violation notice for more details. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-160-A Complaint related: No Description: Based on review of staff records and interview with staff, the center did not ensure each staff submitted documentation of a tuberculosis screening. Evidence: During the inspection on February 8, 2019, in Staff#2's record (date of hire: 8/30/18) there was no documentation of a tuberculosis screening found. Interview with staff confirmed no documentation available for TB during the inspection. Plan of Correction: The center's director will submit copy of TB to licensing inspector and include in staff record by tomorrow.
