Discussed medication authorization forms with the administrator.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed today. The physical plant, 6 staff files, 5 children's files, annual fire and health inspection, staff training, child nutrition, children's activities, medications, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 11:00-12:45pm. There were 37 children under the supervision of 7 staff. Today, the children were observed listening to a teacher read a book, participating in circle time, playing with puzzles, cleaning up for and eating their lunch. For lunch, the children were served ham and cheese roll-ups, peas, bananas and milk. The interactions between the children and staff were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. There are currently 4 staff certified in MAT (medication administration training). Should you have any questions, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
