Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 3/8/19 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed on 3/8/19. There were 29 children present from seven months through 10 years of age at the center in seven classes with 13 staff supervising and the site director present in addition. Five children's records and five staff records were reviewed. No medications were present at the center. The inspector arrived at the center at 10:30 am and departed at 1:45 pm. The staff records were reviewed from 2:15 until 4:00 pm at the central location and the inspection was exited at that time. The children were observed during free time in the classrooms, during gym time, during lunch, and during nap. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
