Licensing inspector arrived at 9:41am and departed at 12:00 pm to conduct a Subsidy Health and Safety inspection. At the time of arrival was eleven children in care with 3 staff . Additional staff arrived during the inspection. The Licensing Inspector observed children eating snack, freely playing in the playroom and infants napping. The sample size consisted of 5 children records and 6 staff records. Areas of non-compliance were reviewed with the director.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-650-E Description: Based on staff interview, the vendor did not ensure there was a written policy and procedures that that describes how the vendor will ensure that each group of children receives care by consistent staff or team of staff members. Evidence: During the inspection conducted on March 7, 2019, staff #1 was not able to provide a written policy and procedures to ensure each group of children receives care by consistent staff or team of staff members. Plan of Correction: A written policy and procedures to ensure each group of children receives care by consistent staff or team of staff members in the next 5 buisness days.
Standard #: 22VAC40-665-770-B-5 Description: Based on staff interview, the vendor did not ensure procedure was created for the continuity of operations to ensure that essential functions are maintained during emergency. Evidence: During the inspection conducted on March 7, 2019, staff #1 to not able to provide a written policy and procedures to ensure continuity of operations . Plan of Correction: The policy and procedures will be added in the next 5 buisness days.
